On studying peoples’ participation across contemporary timespaces:

چکیده

This paper presents critical reflections regarding entangled relationships between access, communication and inclusion illustrates how these play out across multiple analytical scales, ranging from interactional data analysis to engagement with policy data. The study draws on our ethnographic fieldwork two large projects where roughly 45 18-50+ year-old people have been shadowed settings. aims illuminate dimensions of analyst’s participation in terms the flow everyday lives they track within physical-online spaces education, workplaces, cultural settings, homes, leisure-time, governmental agencies, health services, social media, etc. Such a stance acknowledges mobile yet situated, partial limited nature contemporary existence that knowledge generation research enterprise.
 By engaging what we call “second wave southern perspectives” (SWaSP), access scholars identity-positionings can be understood (non)support i.e. (non)affordances different settings for human beings’ possibilities engage practices. In addition bringing into dialogue theoretical clusters SWaSP framing, goes beyond essentialized ways understanding methodologies or single project reporting, attempts shed light chained entanglements, intersections enactments practice, artefacts humans, including which such seldom present themselves an intuitive manner analyst (or participants). 
 A framing is attended as doing multiple-scale ethnography, being positioned who are spaces, reflexive about their gaze follow individuals, tools inscriptions emerge online/physical/private/institutional spaces. Where someone is, when meet, meetings offer positionality, opportunities, meaning-making learning, riddled continua disruptions not only create methodological dissonance mainstream scholarship but, more significantly, challenges scientific enquiry by taking onboard very implications disruptions.
